I’m thrilled you’re here! I appreciate the time you are taking to review my portfolio, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

A Designer & Collector
As a designer, concept artist, and toy collector, I understand from first sketch to fabricated product what it takes to engage consumers.

Designer
I love the iterative design process, particularly when it involves collaboration.
I am currently fluent in seven 2D/3D CAD systems, including AutoDesk’s AutoCAD, Mechanical, Architecture, Inventor, and Fusion, as well as SolidWorks and Creo.
Digital & Concept Artist
As opposed to drawing over imported images, I draw digital paintings and illustrations by hand in Photoshop and Illustrator using a stylus and Cintiq. I follow the traditional oil painting method, including a sketch, underpainting, and color glaze to quickly create detailed, accurate digital art.

Painter
These paintings are all oil on canvas, wood, or canvas board and include both studio and plein air work.
Sketches
My sketch books are the testing ground for ideas &emdash; a place to plan, imagine, iterate, and perfect an idea. I believe sketches should be fully realized and dimensioned before moving on to the next creation phase. These sketches were done with white and graphite pencils, charcoal, or ink on paper.
